We want to grow Odesi's market into the music production scene and the mainstream. We already have a community of 130,000 fans on Facebook who are influential DJs. We need a marketing person who knows how to grow a music product Odesi can be used to make House music, Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, backing tracks for singer-songwriters, and much more. Magazine press and our fans loved it, so we have a wish list of 300 feature requests and ideas on what to build next. We want to market this product because it saves a massive amount of time for music producers. Our new goal is to teach people how to compose great musicĪbout a month ago, we launched our new product called Odesi. #Odesi software update#
There is nothing in the new update that makes this a serious songwriters tool. Furthermore, there appears to be no way to preview any of the sounds contained in the in-app purchase. The built in sounds are cheesy and limited too - just like you got in the 90's midi players. With Odesi you don't seem to be able to have any more than four chords repeating over and over again and you can't change key in song, create useful bass patterns (rhythm only) or sketch out a melody. Furthermore Chordbot has been around for years. Chordbot does all Odesi can do all and lots lots more. I'm disappointed by its severe limitations, especially compared to programs like Chordbot. If repetitive four chord progressions are all you aspire to - then you'll be happy.

It's close because it is just too primitive and can hardly be described as a proper musicians tool or a pro songwriters app (even after the update).
